New Belhaven Fitness Court brings you a fun and free way to burn calories

The Belhaven Heights neighborhood has a new fitness court. “Health and fitness isn’t just for one demographic, it’s for everyone,” says Brianna Benn, owner of Organic Fitness and Nutrition. Starting in November, Ben will be launching a free bootcamp every Saturday morning. Bootcamp offers a minimum of one hour of training on the fitness court located at Belhaven Heights Park. “Everyone should have some kind of resource to come in and do something. This coat is very easy to use,” said Ben. Trainers Boot Camp offers training for people of all ages and fitness levels. Provide different training to people. “Some people may not have the means to pay for a gym membership. Here they can come out and walk for free,” the trainer said. The Greater Belhaven Foundation held a ribbon cutting for the Keith Haring Outdoor Fitness Court last month. This coat combines fitness with the world-famous art of Keith Haring, one of the most influential contemporary artists in American history. Visitors to the fitness court can scan a QR code located at the park to download the app, which provides a variety of full fitness options. The City of Jackson is one of 10 cities across the country selected for outdoor courts.
