BRONX, NY — NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health today announced that City Councilmember Althea Stevens has secured $150,000 in city funding to support needed infrastructure improvements and enhance patient services. This funding will provide the latest in medical technology to Gotham Health, Morrisania’s 50 laboratories. This includes the Vital Signs Machine, which is a space-saving wall-mounted all-in-one unit that includes a blood pressure monitor, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, pulse rate, pulse oximeter, and pulse oximeter. All thermometers are integrated into an electronic medical record system. This not only speeds up appointments, but also makes them more convenient and provides patients with a smoother, more personalized experience.
