Open Sweat Jam West Philadelphia Community Music & Fitness Festival will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at The Lawn at uCity Square for a day packed with live music, fitness activities, and community engagement.

The festival will feature Live Beats Fitness, an innovative fusion of live music and fitness led by legendary Lauryn Hill touring drummer and world-renowned drummer Jeremy Boyd (aka “Wheatbread”) will be done.

In addition to fitness activities, the festival will support early voting through special activations. Attendees will receive free shuttle service from the festival to the nearby early voting location at 4029 Market Street, just a 10-minute walk from the event. Attendees who vote or register to vote will receive special incentives, including entry into the Ultimate Philly Music & Fitness Raffle and access to the Open Sweat Jam & Jam Session featuring performances from festival artists. Shuttle service will operate from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM and will feature live acoustic music to and from early voting locations.

Joining the lineup is Nate McIntyre, owner of Body Rock Boot Camp, a West Philadelphia-based gym that gained national attention after appearing on Netflix’s hit show “Queer Eye.”

Boogie Mandela, a Philadelphia-based rap artist, producer, and sound engineer, will also perform.

– Time: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

– Location: The Lawn, uCity Square, University City, Philadelphia, PA @ 37th, and Filbert

– Admission fee: Free, open to the public
