Pi can help you with various tasks…or be your friend?

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (What’s the technology?) — AI is now a part of our lives, and in addition to taking on many tasks and assignments, it wants to be your friend.

This AI app, Pi, stands for “Personal Assistant” and is being talked about as a way to add a more personal touch to generative AI. Be warned, some people may find this app very strange. It wants to be your friend.

Pi is more human-like than other AI apps.

J: “Hey, Pie, what are you doing?”

Pi: “Oh, you know what? Hanging out in the clouds. The usual. Do you have any plans today?”

Choose the voice you want to interact with and it’s available 24/7. Developed by the company “Inflection”, Pi is designed not only for Q&A, but also as a daily companion, able to answer any questions, provide support or just chat.

Pi’s conversational capabilities make it feel like you’re talking to a real person on the phone. Ask for recipes, help with projects, and chat like you would with a friend. As Pi learns more about you, the conversation becomes more natural. It’s like talking to a real person.

Pi is an app for iPhones, Android devices, and computers. It’s also free, but a paid subscription may be introduced in the future. If you’re looking for a more personal AI tool, you might want to check out this app.
