Award category
Best overall student
Our Best Integration Student category is for those who have consistently approached training with a great attitude – facing and meeting the inevitable challenges and exceeding the high standards expected of them, while at the same time being committed to the training environment and to themselves. Recognizes those who have made a positive contribution to both the capabilities of fellow students.
Best Modular ATPL Student Award
Modular students not only have to provide the required excellence in all areas of regular flight training, but also face some additional challenges. They work to a much greater extent than integrated students, often through multiple providers and juggling work and family commitments alongside the financial plans required to fund their courses. You must manage your own training. Our Best Modular ATPL Student award recognizes those who rise to these challenges while making a positive impact.
Best MPL Student
A relative newcomer to the commercial pilot training scene, MPL offers student pilots a direct route to airlines. Focusing on co-pilot instead of the solo pilot training that CPL students typically receive, MPL training requires students to demonstrate a cooperative spirit and strong teamwork from the beginning. This award recognizes outstanding performance in the multi-crew environment of the MPL course.
Best Ground School Instructor
The ATPL ground exam poses a challenge for students of all ages, whether they tackle it in the classroom or through distance learning from home. This award honors individuals who have mastered the art of teaching on-sim and pushing the limits that come with it.
