Panchkula: The district NCD cell has organized a fitness and improvisational competition on World Heart Day. The event included three fitness exercises and an impromptu competition: jump rope, plank and push-ups. The competition was judged by Dr. Kajal, Deputy Civil Surgeon (NCD), Dr. Rajesh Raju, Head of Respiratory Department, District Civil Hospital, and Dr. Abhinav, Deputy Civil Surgeon, NHM, Panchkula. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal reflects on the progress made in India’s manufacturing industry since the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The plan aims to raise the manufacturing industry’s share of GDP to 25%, and incentives linked to production are important.
