ST. LOUIS — Family Care Health Center, a nonprofit community health organization, plans to break ground on a 27,000-square-foot facility in the city’s Dutchtown neighborhood in November.
The $14 million medical facility will be located at 3800 S. Grand Blvd. The Chippewa Street facility is targeted to open in June 2026. Provide primary care. behavioral health. nutrition services. Caring for women, infants, and children. and pharmaceutical services.
Family Care Health Center, established in 1969, is a federally qualified health center that provides health care services to patients who are independent of health insurance. Family Care Health Center has existing facilities in Carondelet (401 Holly Hills Avenue) and Forest Park Southeast (4352 Manchester Avenue).
The new facility in Dutchtown will be built on the site of the former St. Anthony Hospital, the nonprofit said.
