The “Magnetic Research” event will take place in Pokémon GO from October 15th to 17th, 2024, and will spotlight Electric-type Pokémon. It also features three different daily bonuses: double catch XP on Tuesdays, 50% raid XP on Wednesdays, and double catch Stardust on Thursdays.
Additionally, Magnetic Study offers three timed research and several field research tasks each day to help you get the most out of your event.

A magnetic study consists of three timed studies, one for each event period. These tasks are only available for 24 hours, so be sure to complete and claim them on the same day.

By turning Pokéstops during the event period, you can obtain event-limited field research tasks. You can only earn missions during this period, but you can complete them at your own pace and receive rewards even after the event ends.
