To get players into the Halloween spirit a little early, Pokémon GO is holding Yamask Research Day, where players can catch a bunch of Spirit Pokémon in a very limited time frame. And like most other special events, Yamask Research Day includes multiple timed researches to complete.
Yamask Research Day, which will take place on October 19th from 2pm to 5pm local time, will feature several Pokémon in boosted spawns. However, the main event is various event-exclusive research that will allow you to encounter both Inovan and Galarya Mask by completing simple tasks.

All players will have access to Field Research during the event. Field Research is a free research task that can be obtained by spinning PokéStops. On top of that, purchasing a paid $2 event ticket will allow you to participate in Yamask Premium Timed Research, and completing field research will give you even more Yamask encounters.
Since this is a limited time event for Max Out Season, below is a complete list of all tasks and rewards for Field Research and Time Research, as well as a list of all Pokemon that appear more frequently during Yamask Research Day . And every Yamask you encounter during this event is likely to be Shiny.
