Real Madrid struggled with injuries at the start of the season, but are slowly regaining a healthy squad despite the long absences of Dani Carvajal and David Alaba. The next player to return is Dani Ceballos.
The 28-year-old started on the bench against Villarreal two weeks ago on Saturday, but is now back to full fitness, reports Diario AS. After Monday’s training session, Valdebebas officials said the player, who has been sidelined since the match against Real Betis on September 1 and has missed seven matches in that period, is back to 100%. However, Ceballos is no longer feeling pain in his sprained ankle, so manager Carlo Ancelotti could use him this weekend against Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Los Blancos have been without Eduardo Camavinga, Brahim Díaz and Ceballos at various points this season, but the Frenchman and former Real Betis player should allow Real Madrid to develop games. So far, they have struggled to maintain control with various combinations of Jude Bellingham, Alda Güler, Aurelien Choameny, Fede Valverde and Luka Modric.
