Hoda Kotb’s recent decision to leave the Today show has sparked speculation about other changes to the NBC morning lineup, particularly whether co-host Savannah Guthrie will join her.

Guthrie went on to emphasize how he understands his longtime friend’s decision. “We have young children and we both feel really lucky to have them later in life.
