A new digitization project undertaken by the Ministry of Digital Governance and the Ministry of Health will enable interoperability between Greek hospitals, allowing doctors to access a patient’s national electronic health record regardless of location, city or region. Become. Please present your medical file each time.

“Our goal is to enable all hospitals in the country to communicate not only with each other, but also with the national medical record, the electronic prescription system and other organizations of the Ministry of Health,” said Dimitri, Minister of Digital Governance. Su Papastelgio told the Athens Macedonian newspaper. News agency.

“This initiative is about more than just improving organizational efficiency; all health-related information is now readily available on mobile devices, eliminating the need to carry around physical folders for medical tests. Think about how much easier it would be for the public if it were gone. Also, think about the reduction in bureaucracy if your doctor had direct access to this information.”

All data related to the patient’s medical history, including diagnostic tests, test results, and radiology images, will be available in the myHealth app.
