Surety Health Co., Ltd.

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Sept. 24, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Surety Health, Inc. recently partnered with Florida Atlantic University (FAU), a Tier 1 national research institution in Boca Raton, Florida, to support the university’s athletic department in the NCAA’s American Athletic Conference. Through this partnership, a portion of corporate profits from other companies will help expand the university’s athletic department’s NIL initiative, which refers to the right of college athletes to control and profit from their own name, image and likeness.

CEO J. Steven Leach founded the company in 2022 with the vision of increasing benefits for employers in the Palm Beach County area by more than $100 million by taking advantage of certain tax provisions of the American Health Care Act of 2017, passed by the 115th Congress. This partnership with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) also increases exposure to some of the largest employers in the country, increasing the company’s bottom line while also benefiting employees.

Surety Health plans to partner with about a dozen other universities in a similar capacity, with the goal of increasing enterprise value for shareholders by $1 billion per university.
