TAMIU holds career fair for all majors to help students take the first step toward employment

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) will host a Fall 2024 All-Major Fair to help students and interested parties get started on their career paths.

The fair will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd and will feature approximately 25 different employers looking for new job candidates.

This event is open to students, alumni, and the general public.

Employers in attendance will discuss qualifications, employment needs, certifications, and other common job-related questions.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their most recent resume and prepare a 30-second “elevator pitch.”

Interested candidates are encouraged to wear business attire as recruiters will conduct interviews on-site.

The fair will be held in the Student Center Ballroom on the second floor from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
