The St. Cloud Tech Tigers entered their matchup against the Brainerd Warriors on Friday, October 4th, with a 2-3 record and a three-game losing streak, and the Warriors had exactly the same record and situation.

However, the Tigers quickly realized that Brainerd’s rushing attack was going to be a problem, and after Brainard scored three touchdowns on the ground, the Tigers entered with a TD run by junior running back AJ Payton in the second quarter. . Tech continued to succumb to Brainerd’s physical running game, losing 42-14 and ending the night with a fourth straight loss.

But the night wasn’t without bright spots for Tech, as junior wideout Deonte Hobson came on to score a 35-yard touchdown bomb from quarterback Noah Theis. Tech has won the last four games 215-22. They will look to rebound this Friday at Sartell, with the game starting at 7 p.m. and streamed live on RadioX 97.5 FM https://corn.kvsc.org/radiox
