Truckee, CA – Truckee Elementary School is excited to announce its first Career Day, scheduled for October 14th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This event aims to inspire students by introducing them to different professions and the paths to achieving them.
School counselor Marco Mora is reaching out to local professionals to participate in this educational experience. “We want our students to learn about the exciting careers available to them and the education they need to pursue them,” Mora said.
Experts from different fields will be invited to share their experiences, and participants will have dedicated space in the gym and classroom to interact with students. The schedule includes eight 15-minute sessions that allow students in kindergarten through fifth grade to rotate and interact with a variety of speakers.
Truckee Elementary School welcomes participants and looks forward to making Career Day a memorable experience for everyone.
