The center’s administrative core includes Moreau, Reikauf, and Dr. Kermit Davis, professor and chair of environmental and industrial health in the School of Environmental and Public Health Sciences.
At the heart of the center’s development are Dr. Kelly Brunst, associate professor in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences; Dr. David Stradling, Zane L. Miller Professor of Urban History in the College of Arts and Sciences and interim chair of the Department of History. Angelico Mendi, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences.
At the core of the center’s community engagement are Dr. Michelle Burbage, associate professor and educator in the School of Environmental and Public Health Sciences and director of the Master of Public Health program, and Dr. Shaunak Sastry, the university’s presidential fellow and professor of communication. Contains. Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Public Health.
Faculty from other universities in the area (Northern Kentucky University, Indiana University, and Central State University) are also participating.
The new center also partners with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and the International Union of Chemical Workers to ensure broad impact.
