With less than a week to go until the U.S. presidential election, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are making their final pitches to voters, with both appearing in the battleground state of North Carolina on Wednesday.
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden appears to have called Trump supporters “trash” in response to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s already infamous joke about Puerto Rico at Madison Square Garden. He is being forced to respond to the fact that he inadvertently created a storm in the conservative media.
Harris told reporters Wednesday that she “strongly” opposes any public criticism based on voting intent.
Trump also addressed the president’s comments at a rally in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
“Last night, Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think about our supporters,” he said. “He called them trash, and they meant it…even though my supporters are, without a doubt, of much higher quality than Crooked Joe or Lyin Kamara. .”
He added: “My response to Joe and Kamala is very simple: You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American people.”
On Tuesday, Harris delivered her “closing argument” in Washington, D.C., speaking at the very same spot where Trump told his supporters to “fight like hell” on January 6, 2021.

Las Vegas Sun Editorial Says “President Trump’s Declining Cognitive Skills Becomes an Alarming Concern”
Americans on both sides of the political spectrum should be wary of President Trump’s words and actions. Beyond his hateful personality, the public must face the fact that he is cognitively impaired and shows clear signs of mental illness.
….A recent analysis by The New York Times found that over the past eight years, President Trump’s rally speeches have become darker, longer, more profane, and increasingly unfocused and agitated. . This is a worrying sign that he is no longer able to clearly express ideas and logic. In the way we expect our leaders to be. This leaves him prey to manipulation by his own staff, or worse, control by foreign adversaries.
He walks around aimlessly, has slurred speech, and sometimes speaks gibberish. He has always lied with ease, but now his speech is just a series of lies tangled together in his head, and he doesn’t even realize he’s lying anymore.

She posted on X: yes. “
“Is it an effective stunt? No, he’s assuming that when voters hear ‘trash’ they think of Biden’s gaffe…But the Trump campaign’s Puerto Rico debacle is part of the zeitgeist.” It’s much deeper in points. A complete failure. ”

Here’s what we learned from the former president’s bizarre impromptu press conference.
Elon Musk needs to be protected:
No one loves Puerto Rico more than him, he knows nothing about comedians, and Puerto Ricans love him.
He claims he doesn’t really know who the comedian is.
President Trump hopes to declare victory on election night.

CNN’s latest poll of several battleground states shows Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump in Michigan and Wisconsin, but the two are tied in Pennsylvania.
So-called blue wall states are not only the most viable path for Harris to an Electoral College victory after Tuesday’s election.

Elon Musk’s $1 million donation hearing postponed until tomorrow
Elon Musk’s hearing in Philadelphia over a potentially illegal $1 million donation to voters has been postponed until tomorrow.
“All parties must be present,” the judge said, and Musk was named as a defendant in the case.
Below are excerpts from submissions regarding the need to move the hearing.
On the same day the complaint was filed, Elon Musk agreed to attack the court’s integrity in a tweet to his 202.7 million followers on the social media website he owns, Krasner posted a statement saying, “I know it’s not illegal, but I want it.” Left-leaning judges asked to block it before Election Day. ” …That retweet has now been viewed 8.9 million times. …which immediately sparked an avalanche of posts from Mr. Musk’s followers. Many people made anti-Semitic attacks against Krasner.
To make matters worse, one account responded to posts about the lawsuit at least 19 times with an invitation to political violence, posting the Krasner family’s address and saying, “Krasner loves visitors.” It also included many posts. Please wear a mask and leave all cell phones at home. ” …The instructions to “wear a mask” and “leave all cell phones at home” are meant to prevent illegal actors from being identified by video, witnesses, and cell phone location information. …These posts are undoubtedly criminal…and continue to be posted on Musk’s X website.
Attorney Krasner is responsible for protecting the voting rights and security of all Philadelphians, including ensuring free and fair elections.
Hours later, the judge moved the hearing scheduled for Friday to tomorrow morning and moved the venue from the courthouse to a room at City Hall with better security.

Boy arrested for brandishing machete at woman at polling station
An 18-year-old Florida man has been arrested for allegedly brandishing a machete to intimidate voters at a polling place.
According to ABC News, the teenager, Caleb James Williams, was charged with aggravated assault on a person over 65 and unlawful display of a firearm or dangerous weapon.
Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael Key said at a news conference that Williams “swung a machete over his head in an aggressive and threatening manner” at two women, ages 54 and 71.
Williams and seven other male teens, ages 16 and 17, went to the Beach Branch Library polling place “to protest and antagonize the opposing political camp.”
“This group was there for reasons other than malicious intent to cause disturbances,” he added. “This is not just a case about First Amendment protected rights, this is a case where they were just there to make a fuss.”

Senate Republicans may block RFK Jr. from Trump Cabinet: Report
According to Semaphore, Senate Republicans may block Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from joining Trump’s second Cabinet.
Kennedy Jr. claims President Trump has promised to “take control” of multiple health agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
He told his followers on a livestream Monday that if Trump wins a second term, he would put him in charge of the Departments of Health and Agriculture.
In August, the 70-year-old abandoned his independence campaign for president and backed a wealthy Republican. He previously ran in the Democratic primary, then switched to running as an independent.
But even if Republicans control the chamber, it may be difficult for Kennedy Jr. to be confirmed by the Senate.
A source close to the Trump campaign told Semaphore that “there is a willingness at the highest levels of the Trump campaign to fight for Kennedy’s approval.”
But three congressional aides told the outlet that it would be difficult for Kennedy to win confirmation, even in a Republican-controlled Senate.
A Republican aide told Semaphore that there was “high” doubt that Kennedy would be confirmed, and another said, “There is a certain amount of respect for the next president, but I don’t think[Kennedy]will be confirmed.” I don’t think I’ll be a supporter,” he added.
