Big news for fashion fans: Adriana Lima is coming out of retirement. But the supermodel doesn’t just walk the catwalk, she also takes part in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, appearing 18 times before retiring from the brand in 2018.

Adriana made the announcement in a sweet video she shared to Instagram, which shows her getting into a taxi and telling the driver: “I’m going home.”

After the driver said he didn’t know where she lived, she replied: “Can you take me to the Victoria’s Secret show?” I’m back! ”

The 43-year-old has been working hard since her retirement, especially considering that she is also now the mother of five children. But despite everything that’s going on with her, Adriana looks very healthy right now. Here’s what she shared about her workout routine:

She is trained by Taylor Swift’s trainer.

Adriana works with Dogpound Gym founder Kirk Myers, who also works with Tay Swift and models Jasmine Tookes and Romy Stride. Myers says Adriana never fails when it comes to fitness.

“She’s a badass and all the other supermodels look up to her for inspiration,” he told Vogue. “She is known to train the hardest among supermodels and even among the other Victoria’s Secret Angels, and the models speak very highly of her and admire her. ”

They do a lot of cardio together.

Myers and Dogpound have shared several videos on Instagram of Adrianna completing a cardio-focused workout. One of them sees Adriana fiery like a boss in a battle ropes workout.

In other photos, she is boxing, doing core exercises, and throwing a medicine ball.

Apparently, Adriana is pretty humble about it too.

“If you didn’t know, you’d never know she was famous,” Meyers told Vogue. “She’s so down-to-earth and kind, she has such a big heart, and perhaps most importantly, she’s a wonderful mother and human being.”

She switched up her training.

Adriana has tried many different workouts, including 54D, a program that combines high-intensity training, nutritional planning, and recovery therapy for fitness.

She keeps up a strict workout routine so she always stays in tip-top shape. “I’m always ready. That’s why I’ve been in this industry for over 20 years,” she told Insider in 2017.

Adriana revealed that 80 per cent of her workout routine is boxing, but she’s also keen on jumping rope, lifting and training classes.

Adriana told The Standard in 2020 that she is still passionate about boxing, but also does yoga and ragree, which combines strength training, cardio, conditioning, elements of Pilates in a Reformer vehicle.

She goes to the gym almost every day.

Consistency is key for Adriana. “I go to the gym every day,” she told Insider. “Or if I’m not at the gym, I’m training somewhere, like in my bedroom.”
