NEW YORK , Oct. 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — ZIYNX, the innovative athlete marketing company transforming the way brands and student-athletes collaborate, launches ZIYNX Academy. ZIYNX Academy is the first-ever online, on-demand internship and professional development program designed to: The unique demands of student-athletes’ schedules. This groundbreaking initiative in partnership with Coca-Cola provides student-athletes with access to career building and mental health resources that fit around their busy lives.

We understand how difficult it is to dedicate more than 15 years of your life to something you love and then have it come to an abrupt end. we understand that. ZIYNX Academy was founded on insights from over 75 current student-athletes, allowing us to fully understand their unique challenges and provide the highest level of support tailored to their growth and success. Now it looks like this.

Unlike their non-athlete peers, student-athletes often struggle to pursue traditional summer internships and extracurricular activities, leaving their resumes lacking when it comes time to enter the job market. They also face the common challenge of identity foreclosure after graduation, grappling with the question, “Who am I when I’m no longer an athlete?” This conflict can lead to anxiety, depression, and uncertainty about the future. In response, ZIYNX Academy was created in partnership with over 75 current student-athletes from the rapidly growing ZIYNX community of over 4,000 athletes to tackle these issues head-on and ensure that their playing days are We supported them so that they could safely transition into the workforce.

ZIYNX Academy offers web-based modules. Each module is 45-60 minutes long and divided into three dynamic sections: roundtable discussions with athletes and subject matter experts, 2-minute drills, and ZIYNX’s unique 24-second shots. The 24-second shot, featuring fellow student-athletes, was intentionally made to that length to provide colleagues with a strategic model on how to develop a concise yet impactful elevator pitch.

This course covers key topics that matter most to athletes, including finding your identity beyond sport, mental health and wellness, career readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. These learning modules introduce student-athletes to a variety of industries and connect them with thought leaders who help them identify how the skills they gain in sports can be applied to new professional opportunities. It is enhanced by targeted interactive activities and live events. Upon completing the module, athletes receive a certificate to enhance their resume and professional profile.
