Amazon holds Prime Day events twice a year. Amazon’s second event is actually called Prime Big Deals Days, often referred to as Prime Day in October. This year it started on October 8th and lasted until October 9th. During the sale and in the days leading up to it, Amazon offered deep discounts on popular items like devices, TVs, home security, and other technology, among others. Some of these deals have dragged on. For many, this annual fall shopping event is the kickoff to the holiday shopping season.
Do I need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop Prime Day deals?
Yes, Amazon’s Prime Deal Days sale requires a Prime subscription if you want to score exclusive Prime deals. If your event is within the Prime trial period, you don’t need to be a paid member.
