What makes Dick’s House of Sport stores different?
Pennsylvania-based Dick’s has already opened about a dozen House of Sports locations across the U.S. and plans to open several more.
The new Brandywine Parkway store in Wilmington recently opened and features a climbing wall. Cage for practicing baseball, soccer, lacrosse and other sports. Golf simulator. And so on. We also host birthday parties.

“Look for a fun weekend of prizes, special appearances and more,” Dick’s says on the new store’s website.
For the grand opening, Dick’s will hold a networking event with sports stars.

People lined up at the store before it opened Friday to win one of 100 mystery gift cards for adults and one of 100 DSG X-Flight footballs for kids . Giveaways will also take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
