The Vikings waived defensive lineman Jalen Redmond on Friday, the team announced.

Redmond signed with the Vikings on June 18th.
In his first two games, he played 23 defensive snaps and one special teams, totaling one tackle and one sack.
Lemond joined the team this spring after playing for the UFL’s Arlington Renegades. He appeared in four games, recording 18 tackles, five tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks.
Redmond originally entered the NFL from Carolina in 2023, signing as an undrafted free agent from Oklahoma State. He spent the offseason program with the Panthers but was released last August.
As a Sooner, Redmond started 19 of 36 games from 2018 to 2022, recording 71 tackles, 31.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
