Week 8 of the NFL season will see the New Orleans Saints take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
The Saints are currently on a five-game losing streak and are in desperate need of a win after losing 33-10 to the Denver Broncos in Week 7. The team continues to struggle offensively with quarterback Derek Carr sidelined with an oblique injury. Rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler started for the second straight year in New Orleans despite a myriad of injuries on offense that overwhelmed young quarterbacks. Rattler completed 25 of 35 passes for 172 yards, rushed for 34 yards and had two lost fumbles.
The Chargers recently suffered a blowout 17-15, suffering their first loss under head coach Jim Harbaugh on Monday night. Quarterback Justin Herbert struggled to get the offense going, completing 27 of 39 passes for 349 total yards. Both teams are looking to bounce back in Week 8.
