NFL Inactive Week 8: Tee Higgins out with quadriceps injury, Jayden Daniels ruled out in game

The Cincinnati Bengals will be without wide receiver Tee Higgins on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Higgins has been inactive due to a quadriceps injury, which only occurred a few days ago. He was added to the Bengals’ injury report on Friday and listed as questionable after injuring his quadriceps in practice.

Higgins reportedly felt “better” on Saturday, but the team is being cautious as they don’t want to risk him sustaining a long-term injury.

Jaden Daniels expected to play against Bears

Washington Commanders quarterback Jaden Daniels is scheduled to start Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Head coach Dan Quinn told CBS’ Tracy Wolfson on Sunday that Daniels would start the game barring a setback in pregame warmups.

Daniels is suffering from a rib injury. He was injured early last week against the Carolina Panthers. Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota served as a reliever and led the Commanders to a 40-7 victory. Quinn previously said he thought Daniels could make a game-time decision against Chicago.

Barring any setbacks, Daniels’ availability will ensure a highly anticipated matchup between the top two picks in this year’s NFL Draft. The Bears selected Williams with the first overall pick, and Washington took Daniels with the second pick.

Here are the inactive players for Week 8 (players will be added as teams report):
