The Warriors, who host the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday and Wednesday, won’t be at full strength.

Golden State announced Monday that Stephen Curry missed both games with a strained left peroneal muscle, and forward De’Anthony Melton was sidelined with a lower back strain.

Winger Andrew Wiggins is also dealing with lower back tightness and is doubtful for Tuesday’s game at Chase Center.

Curry and Melton will be re-evaluated on Friday ahead of Saturday’s Warriors-Houston Rockets game at Toyota Center.

Melton was injured with 4:25 left in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ 112-104 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday and did not return to the game. An MRI scan later revealed no structural damage.

Melton is averaging 6.3 points and 2.7 assists in 16.7 minutes off the bench through three games this season.

Wiggins has adapted to starting at shooting guard alongside Curry, Jonathan Kuminga, Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis, and leads the Warriors with 19.7 points per game.

If Wiggins is unable to play Wednesday, the Warriors will rely on Kuminga and Buddy Hield for scoring.
