Manchester City will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Premier League title favourites Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
City, who never won against Arsenal last season, saw their winning start come to an end midweek when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Inter Milan in their Champions League opening game. City had 22 shots against the Italian side but could not beat goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
But attention will now turn back to the Premier League, with City facing title favourites for the first time this season, with Arsenal having outclassed City in every respect over the past two seasons and the result could be no different this time around.

City face the Londoners in a goalless Champions League draw in midweek knowing Kevin De Bruyne may be available – the Belgian was forced off injured in the Inter win but manager Pep Guardiola is hopeful he will be available.
Ederson will likely start in goal as usual and continue his record of starting in all competitions so far this season as he searches for his first clean sheet in the league since City beat Chelsea 2-0 on the opening weekend of the season.
Defensively, Kyle Walker could return to the starting line-up, which would mean a return to a back four after Guardiola deployed a back three in midweek. Walker is likely to start at right-back, with Josko Gvardiol in the opposing full-back slot.
At centre-back, Manuel Akanji will retain his place after starting every game so far this season and will partner Ruben Dias, who returned to the starting line-up against Inter after coming off the bench in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Brentford.
Rodri will start against Inter for the first time this season and make his first Premier League start of the season and is expected to be deployed in deep midfield.
If De Bruyne is deemed healthy enough to start, he should maintain his position in midfield and provide some creative brilliance, with Mateo Kovacic likely to start as the third midfielder in that situation to provide some control.
In attack, Erling Haaland will surely be the front-runner in his quest to reach 100 goals for City, having already netted nine in four Premier League games this season.
The Norwegian could be joined in attack by Jack Grealish and Phil Foden, with the latter coming off the bench at half-time on Wednesday night.
