Barcelona return to La Liga action on September 22nd, away to Villarreal.
La Blaugrana began their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 2-1 loss to AS Monaco in midweek.
This ends their winning streak since the start of the season, but they have now won five straight league games.
The leaders travel to Castellon as they look to balance the demands of a hectic fixture schedule with coach Hansi Flick constantly evaluating his squad.
Both midfielders Pedri and Marc Casado were listed as doubts for the match against Monaco, with Pedri being substituted in the final minutes of the game.
Casado fought until the end of the match but complained of muscle pain at the end of the game, but Flick is confident that both players will be fit for the match against Villarreal.
“I think they can start. Marc was in pain but he was a lot better yesterday so I think he can play along with Pedri. We are being very careful but hopefully he will be 100% tomorrow,” Marca said.
If the pair are fit to start against the Yellow Submarine, it will be their fourth consecutive game together in Barcelona’s engine room.
