Scott Pianowski provides green light, yellow light, and red light plays to help you with Week 4’s most difficult start/seat decisions.

✅ Green light

Cardinals QB Jayden Daniels

He just finished Monday’s “Hello, NFL” smash game and is a guaranteed starter until further notice. Arizona’s defense is also in disarray. The total score for this game is 50.5, which is the highest on this card.

RB Tuba Hubbard vs. Bengals

Andy Dalton’s elevation lifts all boats for the Carolina offense. Diontae Johnson also comes highly recommended if he clears Friday’s practice.

WR Tee Higgins vs. Panthers

His return is better than the box score indicates, and Joe Burrow is starting to look healthy again.

WR Stefon Diggs vs. Jaguars

With Nico Collins a bit hurt and Tank Dell unlikely to play, Diggs becomes even more of a touchdown value.

Raiders D/ST vs. Browns

Preferred streamer defense this week as the Raiders host a scuffling Deshaun Watson.

🫤 yellow light

Chargers QB Patrick Mahomes

I’m not saying the Chiefs offense is broken, but it probably needs some adjustments. Mahomes has started the last 12 games and has scored 20 points in just one game.

WR Tyreek Hill vs. Titans

It’s hard to imagine any fanciful coach reaching such stardom, but Miami’s quarterback room has been scary in Tua Tagovailoa’s absence.

RB Roshon Johnson vs. Rams

The Bears will probably need to try something different after a messy three games with D’Andre Swift, but Chicago’s Bucs will struggle to gain traction behind a spotty offensive line.

WR Jauan Jennings vs. Patriots

They probably want to call him out after the Week 3 break, but his value is tied directly to the injury status of George Kittle (on the rise) and Deebo Samuel (long way back). are.

WR Garrett Wilson vs. Broncos

It will be important for the Jets to find a creative way to move Wilson away from shut down cornerback Patrick Surtain II. Wilson is too good to bench, but be realistic in your expectations.

🛑 Red light

QB Anthony Richardson vs. Steelers

He’s talented enough to score 30 points at any time, but until he shows some consistency and better decision-making, he’s probably best left on the fantasy football bench. Richardson also plays arguably the best defense in the NFL.

WR Christian Watson vs. Vikings

He’s not a first-read option in this offense, and even if QB Jordan Love returns, the Packers may try to protect him from an aggressive, rushing Minnesota defense.

WR Quentin Johnston vs. Chiefs

If anyone has the answer in this passing game, it’s him. But Johnston’s optimism has to be withdrawn, as Justin Herbert is not certain heading into Sunday.

RB Zamir White vs. Browns

He sits at 3.2 YPC, doesn’t do much in the passing game, and has yet to score a touchdown. Alexander Mattison is a mediocre player, but he might be the best option in Las Vegas’ backfield.
