Two of the NFL’s top quarterbacks will face off on Sunday Night Football in Week 4, but this AFC matchup could have implications for playoff contention as the season progresses. The Buffalo Bills enter Week 4 fresh off a 47-10 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, while the Baltimore Ravens came close to reaching 300 yards last week and persevered to defeat the Dallas Cowboys.
Josh Allen’s name emerged early as a leading candidate for NFL MVP, and for good reason. Allen has thrown seven touchdown passes (including four against the Jaguars) and has yet to throw an interception. He completed 75% of his passes this year and added two more points on the ground.
On the other side of the field is 2023 MVP Lamar Jackson, who led the 1-2 Ravens to their first win last week. He and Derrick Henry led a rushing attack that gained 274 yards over Dallas in a 28-25 victory, but it was close for most of the game. Still in MVP form, Jackson ranks 10th in the league in passing yards and eighth in rushing yards.

Banknotes stopped significantly
The Bills just got a big stop and will now look to get the ball back after the Ravens’ second consecutive punt of the night.
Josh Allen will need to turn this into points quickly if he wants to turn things around.

Josh Allen sets up Bills TD
I don’t know how Josh Allen pulled this off, but Ty Johnson scored a short touchdown run on the next play. What a ridiculous sequence for the Bills.

Banknotes stall again
Even after a delay in the game (due to John Harbaugh’s coaching error) gave the Bills a free first down to keep the momentum going, the Ravens got another stop, forcing Buffalo to punt for the fourth time.
The Ravens would get the ball back 42 seconds before halftime.

ravens fumble
That was Baltimore’s first mistake of the night. Lamar Jackson punched the ball out, the Bills picked up a fumble, and it was a big break before the two-minute warning.
If they want to have a chance to come back in the second half, they need to turn this into a point now.

Ravens force quick punt
The Ravens would force a three-and-out and get the ball back. This problem can quickly get out of hand.
Sean McDermott punted on fourth and scored a point there, essentially giving us a white flag in the second quarter. terrible.

Derrick Henry’s historic run
Derrick Henry’s 87-yard touchdown run became the longest rushing touchdown in Ravens history.
It was also Henry’s third career rushing touchdown of 85 yards or more. Only two other players in NFL history have had three or more rushing touchdowns of that length.

Ravens 7, Bills 3
Josh Allen got the Bills going again, but they stalled just past midfield. So they’ll have to settle for a 50-yard field goal from Tyler Bass.
