HISTORY MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin football team today hosted its first opponent in the Ohio Valley Conference of the 2024 season, as the defending regular season champion Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles defeated them 2-0 at Skyhawk Field. I won.

The Skyhawks had their first three shot attempts of the second half, including a low liner by Patterson that was saved just 52 seconds into the second half. After Prescod Beckels (73rd minute) and Patterson (80th minute) kept the pressure on, a deflected save by Titus led to the Golden Eagles’ second goal, allowing Tennessee Tech to hold on for the win.
