NFL News Latest: Anthony Richardson’s hip injury is not serious, Vikings remain undefeated

Week 4 is upon us and there are still some surprising undefeated teams remaining. The Minnesota Vikings are led by MVP candidate QB Sam Darnold. The right combination of coach and teammates can change a quarterback’s entire future, as happened with Geno Smith of the Seattle Seahawks two seasons ago.

No one is worried about Darnold right now, but everyone is worried about Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts. That’s not because of his overall performance (that’s a question for another day), but because of his hips. He left Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (the Colts won 27-24) with a hip problem and did not return (he was replaced by old faithful Joe Flacco). However, reports Monday morning said the injury wasn’t too bad and the Colts just took extensive precautions with him on Sunday.

#Steelers Starting guard James Daniels suffered a torn Achilles tendon Sunday against Indy, according to sources. He will be out for the season. It’s a tough blow for a stable starter up front.

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels releases Tom Brady-esque stats

You might want to take a look at this Jaden Daniels kid. Through the first four games, he posted a higher completion percentage than a man named Tom Brady during the 2007 season. The managers may have acquired a real player in the 2024 NFL Draft, folks.

Anthony Richardson’s hip injury is reportedly not serious

Good news for Colts fans. The injury that kept QB Anthony Richardson out of Sunday’s win over the Steelers does not appear to be too serious. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reported that the Colts acted with extreme caution when excluding him, but he appears to have avoided major injury.

The good news is that Anthony Richardson has suffered a hip pointer and, according to sources, is not expected to miss any significant amount of game time.

The Colts took precautions yesterday to ensure their safety and decided to sit out their franchise QB. He is enduring some pain with sore muscles, but appears to have avoided major injury. https://t.co/SORkX0DzMx
