Fantasy football managers received what appeared to be some dark news last week. San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey, who has a consensus 1.01 pick in this year’s draft, reportedly suffers from Achilles tendonitis in both feet, which doesn’t seem like very good news. Even if it wasn’t news to the team.

Fortunately, we had a few running backs come in and perform well in Week 4, so hopefully we can make this week a win. Of course, leading the charge during these important weeks was King Derrick Henry. He led all running backs in full PPR scoring and had two straight 30+ point fantasy days.
Why is Henry, 30, still averaging a ridiculous 6.0 yards per carry and 131 scrimmage yards per game? Why is he the RB3 in full PPR scoring despite only having 5 total receptions on the year? It seems like it was nothing short of a miracle, but it seems like it would have been nothing short of miraculous to have Henry in Baltimore’s plans. Everyone knew that if he lined up with Jackson, good things would happen.
Henry locks in the lineup each week, but other starting/seat decisions aren’t as easy. To help you set your fantasy lineups, our fantasy analysts provide Week 5 running back rankings in complete PPR scoring format.
