Influenza vaccination in consecutive pregnancies is not associated with an increased risk of prespecified adverse perinatal outcomes, according to a study published online September 19 in JAMA Network Open. Darios Getahan, MD, MPH, of Kaiser Permanente Southern California in Pasadena, and colleagues conducted a retrospective cohort study to examine the association between seasonal influenza vaccination in consecutive pregnancies and adverse perinatal outcomes in individuals who had at least two consecutive singleton pregnancies.
