The Arizona Cardinals led the Los Angeles Chargers 7-6 at halftime in Week 7, but part of that was due to two absolutely wild plays that resulted in Chargers turnovers.

The Cardinals couldn’t convert either turnover into a score, but neither could the Chargers.

Here’s the first play:

Kyler Murray attempted a pass over the middle to James Conner. Khalil Mack tipped the pass and it fell into the arms of defensive lineman Tiard Tartt for an interception.

Tartt rumbled into Arizona’s territory, but Conner chased him from behind and knocked the ball away, causing a fumble. With Michael Wilson getting the ball back, the Cardinals survived the interception by forcing a fumble and resetting on a drive rather than giving the Chargers the ball in field goal range.

He saved a touchdown on his second play.

Justin Herbert threw a deep pass to Jalen Reagor, who caught the ball and ran down the sideline. It looked like he was going to score a touchdown. When star cornerback Thomas V. punched the ball out at the 3-yard line, it hit Reagor’s leg and ricocheted into the end zone, where safety Jaylen Thompson retrieved it for a touchback. Instead of the Chargers taking a 7-0 lead, the game went scoreless and the Cardinals took over.

What a crazy duo playing under the lights at State Farm Stadium.
