LAKEWOOD — Southwestern’s Dani Mincarelli and Audrey DeLong were the only team to win three matches to advance in the Chautauqua Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis doubles tournament held Friday at the Lakewood YMCA. .
Mincarelli and DeLong defeated Salamanca’s Emelia Prey and Shelley Chen 8-2 in the first round, then defeated Falconer’s Mia Vandevelde and Emily Greene 6-3, 6-2 in the second round, leading to Maple – Defeated Grove’s Megan McGee and Megan Lockwood 6-0. , 1-6, 6-2 in the third round.
The remaining three pairs competing in today’s semifinals received first-round byes on Friday.
Frewsburg’s Grace Kutschke and Brooke Golub defeated Jamestown’s Graciela Melquist and Jolie Schultz 6-0, 6-0 in the second round, and Chautauqua Lake’s Gabby Freeberg and Gillian in the third round. – Defeated against Miller 6-2, 6-0.

The final semifinal berth went to Falconer’s Rachel Swanson and Elena Barry, who defeated Olean’s Rachel Dalmas and Simran Chahal 6-3, 6-1 in the second round, and Jamestown’s Onnalee Nellis and Jazmin.
