Week 8 is a big week for the SEC.
In the first of the night’s two marquee games, No. 11 Tennessee overcame a rough start to defeat No. 7 Alabama, 24-17. We’ll see if No. 1 Texas can hold its own in an evening showdown with No. 5 Georgia.
In other games, Brady Cook suffered an injury early on, but his lackluster performance led No. 19 Missouri back to victory against Auburn. Travis Hunter also got dirty on Saturday. Colorado’s two-way star left at halftime with a re-aggravation of his shoulder, but the Buffaloes didn’t need him in their blowout win over Arizona.
Defending national champion Michigan suffered its third loss of the season, losing 21-7 to No. 22 Illinois.
