That’s the same McDonald as Mike McDonald, the first-year coach of the Seattle Seahawks. I hope this helps!
McDonald is one of seven new head coaches in the NFL this season. And he led Seattle to a 3-0 start, until Monday night when the Seahawks faced the offensively perfect Detroit Lions.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff was a perfect 18-for-18 for 292 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-29 victory over Seattle. The Seahawks entered the game with the No. 1 defense in the NFL through three weeks.
