From better algorithms for self-driving cars to better solutions for robotic surgery and better ways for robots to manipulate objects, researchers from the University of California, San Diego will present the project in Abu Dhabi from October 14th to 18th. He is presenting his research at the IROS 2024 conference. .

IROS is one of the world’s largest and most important robotics research conferences.

This year’s conference theme is “Robotics for Sustainable Development” and will focus on the role robotics can play in achieving sustainability goals.

“IROS is known as one of the most prestigious conferences in robotics and automation research, and we are excited to have a significant presence at this event,” said UC San Diego. said Henrik Christensen, director of the School of Contextual Robotics Institute. “The theme of IROS 2024 is technology for a sustainable future. We will have speakers on a wide range of topics, from smart transportation to addressing an aging society to next-generation robotic systems. It has special meaning as a conference and we are excited to be able to contribute to the spread of robotics technology.”
