Inter Milan expects several major injuries to return in November
From Hakan Calhanoglu to Carlos Augusto, Inter Milan are hoping to have several key players back from injury during November.
This was reported by today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that no one is in a hurry to return, but that return is imminent.
Inter are currently without several players due to injury.
First up is Tajon Buchanan. The Canadian had previously missed the entire season after breaking his foot in the summer.
But Buchanan is very close to returning. The 25-year-old is back in full training with the rest of his teammates.
According to Tuttosport, there is a good chance that Buchanan will be called up for tomorrow’s Serie A match against Juventus.
There will be virtually no chance of seeing Buchanan on the pitch against the Bianconeri.
However, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi may give him his first minutes since the injury in the upcoming games against Empoli and Venice.
Meanwhile, three other players should also return soon.
Calhanoglu, Acerbi and Augusto to return to Inter next month
Neither Hakan Calhanoglu Francesco Acerbi nor Carlos Augusto will be available for Inter tomorrow’s game against Juventus.
Three of this trio are currently sidelined with thigh issues.
However, in the case of Calhanoglu and Acerbi, there is a possibility that they will return against Empoli already in midweek. Inter travel to Tuscany in Serie A on Wednesday.
However, according to Tuttosport, neither Çalhanoglu nor Acerbi are in a hurry to return to the game.
Therefore, it may be more realistic to expect them to return next Sunday against Venice.
Carlos Augusto, on the other hand, is a slightly different story.
Tuttosport expect the Brazilian to miss all of Inter’s matches before the start of the November international break. He should be back next month to face Hellas Verona.
