The new funding will go toward improvements to the Van Wyck Fields youth sports complex. This will be an additional amount on top of the initial funding earmarked for improvements announced Wednesday. It included landscaped fields, a parking lot, and even a new dog park.

“My parents are happy with how the field is looking, and we spent a lot of time and money installing equipment and parking, and of course we spent the money we just received,” said Lackawanna President Jennifer Narebeski. he said. Legendary youth baseball.

Palliei added, “I have kids in this organization and I’ve played with their grandparents and my dad has coached since the beginning, so this is a big family thing.”
