CBS Sports Network’s continued coverage of the 2024 college football season will feature six games from Week 10, including three weeknight games before Saturday’s tripleheader. Conference USA is getting the most attention, with three games taking place throughout the week.
Conference USA action continues Wednesday as Liberty University hosts Jacksonville State University in a contest that will determine the final standings.
There will be a new look Friday night between Georgia State University and UW. It’s an interesting non-conference matchup that could have implications for the postseason, at least for the Huskies. Heading into Saturday’s start, Buffalo will look to keep its Mid-American Conference hopes alive against Akron.
Conference USA returns at noon as Middle Tennessee State travels to UTEP, leading to an interesting Mountain West Conference matchup between Colorado and Nevada in the nightcap.
As Week 10 games begin, CBS Sports Network will be with you every step of the way. In the meantime, check out the info, storyline, betting odds and more for each matchup.

Spread: Liberty -1.5 |Will the Flames cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
Speaking of the Liberty, the Flames were on fire in Week 9. Liberty’s playoff hopes looked slim early in the season, thanks in part to a weak schedule and a surge from the other five teams in the group. Now, they’re gone thanks to a 27-24 loss to Kennesaw State. Fellow Kennesaw State moved from the FCS in the offseason, but had yet to beat an FBS program at this level. Liberty didn’t look very impressive all year, highlighted by close wins over the likes of New Mexico State and FIU, but it all caught up with the Flames. Jacksonville State University, on the other hand, followed a different trajectory. It would have been easy to dismiss the Gamecocks after starting the 2024 season 0-3, but they have slowly climbed to the top of C-USA with a 3-0 record in league play thus far. are. The victory over Liberty will still stick in my mind.

Spread: UConn -7.5 |Will the Huskies cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
UConn is in full swing this year. The Huskies are one win away from qualifying for a bowl for the second time in three years under coach Jim L. Mora. The Huskies did not play in a bowl game twice in the three years from 2008 to 2010. They have a good chance to secure their postseason fate against Georgia State, but it won’t be easy. After all, this is the same Panthers team that beat Vanderbilt. But since then, sledding has been rough. Georgia State has lost four straight but is looking for its first win in the Sun Belt Conference. During that span, the Panthers are averaging less than 21 points per game.

Spread: Buffalo -1.5 | Will the Bulls cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
The battle for the Mid-American Conference Championship Game is in jeopardy. Buffalo is just outside the top pack with a 2-2 conference record so far, but the Bulls are still within shouting distance. Obviously, their margin for error is narrow and they cannot avoid all failures. They certainly can’t ignore Akron, even if their 2-6 record suggests the Zips may not be the toughest opponent. Akron upset Eastern Michigan in Week 9, scoring their first conference win while scoring a season-high (against an FBS opponent at least) with 25 points.
Middle Tennessee at UTEP
Date: Saturday, November 2nd | Time: 3:30pm ET
Location: Sunbowl — El Paso, Texas

Spread: UTEP -3 |Will the Miners cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
Neither Middle Tennessee nor UTEP are in the Conference USA race, but a win here would cement both teams in the middle of the standings, at least for now. The Blue Raiders and Miners haven’t had much success this year. In conference play, they have a total of 2 wins and 7 losses. MTSU’s only win came against Kennesaw State, while UTEP defeated FIU a few weeks ago to give young coach Scotty Walden his first career FBS win. Don’t expect a ton of points. UTEP ranks eighth in Conference USA in scoring offense with 17 points per game, but Middle Tennessee isn’t far behind at ninth with 16.9 points per game.

Spread: Colorado -1 | Will the Rams cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
Colorado State University is quietly in the thick of the Mountain West Conference race. While much of the attention has focused on programs like No. 15 Boise State and UNLV, which earned the first AP ranking in program history earlier this year, the Rams are off to a 3-0 start in league play and are unscathed. There are only three teams: the Broncos and San Diego State. Nevada is at the other end of the spectrum. The Wolfpack seemed to have turned a corner with a win over Oregon State on October 12th, but then lost two straight in the MWC and fell to a winless Hawaii team by 21 points in Week 9. Ta. conference game.
