Mythics has acquired Three Wire Systems’ technology resale business for an undisclosed amount and will integrate the acquired business unit into wholly owned subsidiary Emergent, expanding its portfolio of open source, cloud and security technology products for public sector customers.
“Joining Emergent makes sense – we are perfectly aligned in clients, experience and expertise, and we see greater opportunity to make an impact in the public sector,” James Ebeler, managing director and chief technology officer, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Since 2006, Virginia-based Emergent is a value-added reseller providing information technology platforms and services to government, education and commercial customers.
Founded in 2006, Three Wire’s technology reseller business provides third-party products to support government customers and their transformation efforts. Technology partners within this business unit include Dell, Broadcom, Ping and Zscaler (Nasdaq: ZS).

Mythics and Emergent became part of One Equity Partners in December 2022 after receiving a strategic investment from the private equity firm.
