More than half of gym goers value access to a pool, according to data from VivoAquatics

As fitness enthusiasts look for comprehensive amenities in their training facilities, a new study from VivoAquatics sheds light on a key feature: swimming pools. The survey found that more than 56% of respondents use their fitness center pool on a weekly basis, demonstrating clear demand for this amenity. Therefore, maintaining good operational standards for pool management is critical to member satisfaction.

“These findings demonstrate that gym patrons highly value pool access, making effective water management important for gym owners and managers,” said VivoAquatics. said Richard Lindhorn, vice president of marketing and corporate development. “With the right technology, owners and managers can access real-time data on water quality, temperature, and chemical balance from anywhere. This allows them to quickly identify and resolve safety issues. .”

Although most respondents said they were satisfied with the hygiene and maintenance of their gym pool, approximately 24% experienced an unexpected pool closure. Additionally, 47.15% said they did not receive detailed information about pool hygiene and safety from their fitness center, highlighting the need for improvement in communication.
