A high ankle sprain plaguing Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor will keep him out of the lineup in Week 7.

Taylor hasn’t played since Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and has yet to return to the practice field.

“When I was told I had a high ankle, I knew it usually takes four to six weeks to get a high ankle, but I was going through various rehabs and injuries, so I thought, ‘That’s impossible.’ ” Taylor said Thursday. You have to do your best to keep reducing it every day. ”

Meanwhile, QB Anthony Richardson (Oblique) will start after missing the past two games.

Cardinals’ Harrison Jr. clears concussion protocol

Marvin Harrison Jr. has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play Monday night against the Los Angeles Charges, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Harrison suffered a concussion in Week 6 and wore a non-contact jersey in practice this week. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said it was “really encouraging” to see the rookie back on the field.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray fired a pass over the middle aimed at Harrison in the second quarter of a 34-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander broke up the pass, knocking Harrison to the turf. When Harrison fell, the top of his helmet hit linebacker Isaiah McDuffie in the thigh, snapping his head back.

Harrison stood up after the blow, clearly stunned. He quickly returned to the lawn.

He went to the sideline medical tent and then to the locker room with an athletic trainer. The Cardinals announced before halftime that he had been diagnosed with a concussion and ruled him out before the start of the third quarter.

Neighbors ready to return to Giants

The New York Giants had wide receiver Malik Nabors back to practice on Thursday. The rookie wideout was a full participant and subsequently visited an independent neurological consultant and was released from concussion protocol.

Nabers suffered a concussion in the Giants’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4. He has missed the past two games, but is expected to return Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Rams’ decision on Kupp is scheduled for Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp returned to practice this week for the first time since Week 2. Kupp suffered a sprained ankle but could return Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Kupp is questionable and a decision on whether to play will be made Sunday morning.

“If he’s ready to play, we want him to play, and if not, we’re hoping Thursday (against Minnesota) is the day,” McVay said this week. spoke.
