The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions both enter Week 6 on two-game winning streaks, but things are a little different. The 3-1 Lions received an early bye in Week 5 and will now play a marathon over the next 13 weeks to close out the season. In Week 4, they lit up the scoreboard with a 42-29 win over the Seahawks. Jared Goff completed all 18 of his passes in the game for 292 yards and two scores.
Dallas has won two straight in recent weeks after getting beaten at home by the Ravens and Saints. In Week 5’s win at Pittsburgh, the Cowboys ran the ball at will for 445 yards and 25 first downs in rainy weather against a vaunted Steelers defense, but had three turnovers. A late Dak Prescott-Jalen Tolbert touchdown was needed. Pass with 20 seconds left and win 20-17.
In the AFC’s top late game, the Chargers head to Denver to take on the Broncos. Coach Bo Nix’s Denver is on a roll with three straight wins, but the Chargers enter Week 6 on a two-game losing streak. The Steelers will also play the Las Vegas Raiders in the afternoon slot, while the Atlanta Falcons will travel to Charlotte to take on the Panthers.
The schedule for Sunday of week 6 is as follows:
