The New Orleans Saints have been on a roll through the first two weeks of the season, lining up for an early highlight of Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season with a home game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints have scored 91 points through two games, and such a hot offense could spell trouble for the Eagles, who came up short last week in their bid to beat the Falcons, allowing Kirk Cousins and co. to go for a 70-yard run for the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of the game.
Also in the early Week 3 highlight is the 2-0 Texans taking on the 2-0 Vikings. The league has had its eye on CJ Stroud since last season, and Stroud hasn’t thrown an interception since Thanksgiving, so it’s not really a surprise to see the Texans here. The same can’t be said for the Vikings. Sam Darnold has been very good through the first two weeks of the season and was expected to start on the bench behind JJ McCarthy, who was sidelined with a knee injury during the preseason.
