The Packers listed receiver Romeo Dubs as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rams for personal reasons.
It was then reported that Douce was dissatisfied with his role and skipped practice.
Now, Green Bay announced on Saturday that the Packers have suspended Dubs for one game for conduct detrimental to the team.
“Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week’s game,” general manager Brian Gutekunst said in a statement. “His decisions and actions that week reflected negatively on the team and we needed to take this action. We are certainly disappointed, but confident we can move forward positively. Romeo He is a valued member of our team and we look forward to welcoming him back next week.”
Dubs has 12 catches for 169 yards and no touchdowns so far this season.
The Packers were already likely to be without fellow receiver Christian Watson for tomorrow’s game against the Rams. He is listed as questionable after not practicing all week with an ankle injury.
