Good news. . . Sims went just 6-8 last week. Bad news. . . It wasn’t very good with 7 wins and 7 losses.

This has been a tough week, with a lot of unexpected results (for us). In fact, I played better against the spread with 7-6-1 than I did with the straight. (Chris was 5-8-1.)

All these years I’ve been 48-30. Chris is 42-36 years old.

Against the spread, I am 44-31-3. Chris has 33 wins, 42 losses and 3 draws.

There are only two games this weekend where we have different opinions, including the last one. As always, all picks appear below.

And if you’re going to place a bet, you need two things. The first is to do it responsibly. 2. Don’t listen to us.

49ers (-3.5) vs. Seahawks

It’s a must-win game for San Fran, which is 0-2 in the division and 0-3 in the conference.

Florio: 49ers, 24 wins, 20 losses.

Sims: 49ers, 31-21.

Jaguars vs. Bears (-2)

The Bears are putting together a strong offense.

Florio: Bears, 27 wins, 23 losses.

Sims: Bears, 24-20.

Ravens manager (-6.5)

This is today’s game. Can the Ravens avoid their fourth-quarter weakness?

Florio: Ravens, 34 wins, 31 losses.

Sims: Ravens, 34-23.

Cardinals vs. Packers (-5)

Jordan Love is healthy and the Packers need to continue their winning streak.

Florio: Packers, 27 wins, 17 losses.

Sims: Packers, 28-24.

Texans (-7) vs. Patriots

A quarterback change is too little, too late for the Patriots. And I made it in time for the Texans game.

Florio: Texans, 24-13.

Sims: Texans, 30-17.

Buccaneers (-3.5) vs. Saints

The Bucks need to re-establish themselves.

Florio: Buccaneers, 31 wins, 20 losses.

Sims: Buccaneers, 31-14.

Browns vs. Eagles (-9)

If the Eagles lose this year, it’s going to be a very long year.

Florio: Eagles, 28 wins, 14 losses.

Sims: Eagles, 34-17.

Colts vs. Titans (-2.5)

Tennessee’s defense is solid. Can they get quality quarterback play?

Florio: Titans, 20 wins, 17 losses.

Sims: Titans, 17-14.

Chargers at Broncos (-3)

The Broncos are quietly evolving into a championship contender.

Florio: Broncos, 21-17.

Sims: Chargers, 23-13.

Steelers (-3) vs. Raiders

My guess is Russell Wilson will be back. This is a great opportunity for Pittsburgh against the struggling Raiders.

Florio: Steelers, 24 wins, 14 losses.

Sims: Steelers, 24-20.

Falcons (-6) vs. Panthers

It feels like the Falcons are ready to move forward.

Florio: Falcons, 40 wins, 20 losses.

Sims: Falcons, 27-23.

Lions (-3) vs. Cowboys

The Lions are rested, ready and overall better than the Cowboys.

Florio: Lions, 27 wins, 23 losses.

Sims: Lions, 34 wins, 24 losses.

Bengals (-3.5) vs. Giants

If the Bengals can’t win this game, it might be time to press a fork into their skin.

Florio: Bengals, 30 wins, 21 losses.

Sims: Bengals, 31-21.

Bills at Jets (-2.5)

Ambassadors need diplomatic immunity.

Florio: Bills, 21-13.

Sims: Jets, 20-17.
