This week sees the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Career Fair and the Health and Helping Professions Career Fair.

This week, the Career Connections Office is hosting back-to-back job fairs. Students who want to find a career, job or internship and make an impact in the agriculture, food, natural resources or health professions are encouraged to attend the job fairs and interact with potential employers.

Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Career Fair

Wednesday, September 25, 2024
10:00am – 12:00pm, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
ARKU Ballroom

New for Fall 2024, the career fair has been redesigned for students seeking jobs and internships in the agriculture, food and natural resources industries. Students majoring or minoring in the following fields can interact with recruiters and learn about full-time and part-time job and internship opportunities:

Horticulture Agricultural Economics Animal Science Crop Science Entomology Food Science Poultry Science Plant Science Agribusiness Plant Pathology Food Safety Landscape and Turf Science Agricultural Communication, Education and Technology Crop, Soil and Environmental Science Agricultural and Extension Education Environmental, Soil and Water Science Brewing Science Bioenergy and Sustainable Technology Bioengineering Earth Science Environmental Dynamics Environmental Engineering Environmental Resilience Geography Geology Earth Science Geospatial Technology Outdoor Products and Services Sustainability

Health and Welfare Professionals Career Fair

2pm to 4pm
ARKU Ballroom

The Health and Help Careers Fair is an opportunity for all undergraduate and graduate students to gather information about graduate and medical schools and to search for full-time, part-time, or internship positions in the health and help fields. The fair will feature recruiters from hospitals, health clinics, social service agencies, law enforcement, non-profit and government agencies, mental health clinics, graduate and professional schools, and other companies and organizations looking to hire or refer students interested in working in the health or help fields.

Common majors for students in the health and helping fields include:

Communication Psychology Criminology Nursing Athletic Training Social Work Sociology Counseling Exercise Science Occupational Therapy Communication Sciences and Disorders Public Health Government and Nonprofits Human Nutrition and Dietetics Birth to Kindergarten Kinesiology Child Advocacy Studies Political Science Biomedical Engineering Pre-Medical and Pre-Law
